When I was Attending the Ignite Session BrK3088 Discover Storage Spaces Direct, the ultimate software-defined storage for Hyper-V Claus Joergensen was talking about something called Project Kepler-47 (in the video around 57 Minutes). This is a two Storage Spaces Direct Prof of Concept Design that Microsoft did to show the possibilities that S2D has even with very inexpensive Hardware. After the session I went to the Microsoft both in the exibition hall and talked with Dan Lovinger (Microsoft Principal Developer) about the solution. Have fun watching Dan talking and demoing the little Projekt Kepler-47.
